What Is Hysteria ?

Fulfilling the intention of including every single category of competitions and rocketing each skill set - be it the rhythms of music, the elegant moves of dancing or the verbal impact of literary events to the skies, Hysteria stands unmatched as the annual inter-collegiate cultural festival of DBCL. This cultural festival provides equally important platforms and opportunities to the newcomers, the ones that seek improvement and the ones that participate merely for the thrill. Hysteria undoubtedly encompasses everything when it comes to the domain of cultural events and is always sought after to achieve beneficial success in any student’s life!

DEPARTMENTAL ACHIEVEMENTS
2018-2019

  • Madhura Shinde won the 1st prize in Poster Presentation Competition on 'Trends of 5G Networks' organized by IEEE-DBIT MTTS Student Chapter at DBIT on April 09, 2019.

  • Vivek Vishwanath was the Incubation Head , Entrepreneurship Cell ,DBIT, Alumni Co-ordinator , DBIT Student CouncilEvents Co-ordinator , Colosseum 2019. He represented the college at numerous Drama competitions as part of the drama club. He was called as a judge for the prelims of K.J Somaiya Debate Competition. He won the 1st Prize in the Poster Presentation competition organised by IEEE-DBIT.

  • First prize-Shutter painting DBIT won three (03) ‘Throw Ball Tournaments’ at Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, Sardar Patel Institute of Technology and Vidyalankar Institute of Technology. Brinell Monterio from BE was a part of all the three matches.

  • Nikita Thomas, Brinell Monterio and Janice D’souza from BE were part of the football team that won the first prize in five (05) ‘Football Tournaments’ held at Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues CoE, Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, Vidyalankar Institute of Technology, K.J. Somaiya and D.J. Sanghvi and won the second prize at Rajiv Gandhi Institute Technology.

  • Anish Tilak form BE won the State-level Photography competition held at Xaviers.

  • Sancho from BE was part of the winning team at K.J. Somaiya Football Tournament.
